Channels is an interactive image/sound installation in which the viewer is offered the false sense of agency through access to a remote control placed in front of three identical televisions.
Independent of the viewers channel selection, the transformed real-time image/sound stream is periodically interrupted (and silenced) by the insertion of text that invites the viewer to reflect upon the potential interrelationships between choice, influence, and consciousness.
